The Navbharat Times (NBT) is a Hindi-language broadsheet daily newspaper with editions in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Lucknow and Mumbai. Among the widest circulated and largest read Hindi newspapers, it belongs to Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd, which also brings out The Times of India, The Economic Times and Maharashtra Times among others publications. NBT has been the leading newspaper in the cities it is published in since its inception.
With a circulation of 4.23 lakh odd copies (source: Audit Bureau of Circulations, Jan-Jun-10) in Delhi and a strong readership of 19.7 lakh readers. In India’s commercial capital, NBT has a circulation of 130,000 copies in the Greater Mumbai area (source: Audit Bureau of Circulations, Jan-Jun-10) and attracts 470,000 NBT readers according to the Indian Readership Survey (Q4, 2010). This is despite Hindi coming after the Marathi language in Mumbai.
